The Voices of Angels
“The voices of a thousand angels cannot express my gratitude.”
-Andraé Crouch, My Tribute
In the light of extremists, terrorism, and a rising global sense of fear, the world is searching for reason. Naturally a critical eye is being turned towards the faith community with hard questions demanding for - hoping for - fruitful answers.
It is now incumbent upon us who claim the grace and mercy of God, to unite wherever the eye is turned, and demonstrate the love and life-principles of our Father. In the face of pain, suffering, and fear we must transcend our denominational and doctrinal divides and answer the cry of the people: God is with us, and through His Love we can live.
We must demonstrate our compassion, our courage, our wisdom, and our faith in the Mercy God has granted us.
We must demonstrate our forgiveness.
We must demonstrate our selflessness.
We must demonstrate our Love for all of God’s Creation.
It is with this mandate that the Voices of a Thousand Angels is formed. Wherever the nation turns its eye, whenever an answer is called, a choir of a Thousand Angels voices should join to share in the uniting Praise and Worship of God. We seek to be enablers of this call.

Thank you Andy, your prayers are needed and appreciated.
In the Hospital the other day when 3 of our hero miners were killed and another 3 were badly injured, I and a social worker were placed in the cafeteria to wait for family members that would soon be arriving and inquiring about their loved ones. Most of which, later, discovered were not in the mine during the time of the accident. There was much confusion for awhile due to a shift change during the time of the accident. When there were only a few family members left at the hospital, at around 10:00 pm. an eight year old girl walked into the room with her baby sitter. The little girl could barely get the words out as she said, “Where is my daddy”? The social worker had a list of the injured men and asked the little girl her dads’ name. Soon we discovered he had been life flighted to another hospital. We also knew that one of the three men that had been life flighted had already died. After a few phone calls and much coaxing we were informed that her dad was doing fine and was expected to recover. This would not be the news for some of the other family members. I cried off and on for two days thinking about that little girl and her question. Another man that had been killed left behind a set of four year old twins and a five year old. I am personally acquainted with one of the trapped miners’ family. And now there is talk of abandoning the mission for it has become increasingly dangerous. We are a community that knows how to pull together during a crisis: And your prayers help during these difficult times.
Thank you!
Sincerely: Pastor Sweeten

I am a missionary in St Louis from the Portland congration, Celebration Tabernacle . I know saying , “we are praying for you” seems like a distant cry when you are faced with happening such as these. But know that my thoughts and prayer on never far from from the families and friends that are affected by this tragity.
Remember how your loved ones lived, the joy that you shared and remember the spark of life that you saw in their eyes when they smiled, not how they left this earth. There is no need for tears for those that Loved the Lord have gone home. Hold fast to what you know is right and just, in your heart, and you shall see them again.
With the love of a brother,
Ryan

My love and prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy. Walk in faith and be encouraged to know that this world is not our home. Even though we miss those who are not with us any longer, take joy in the life and memories you’ve shared together. Walk in the truth, always strive to do what is right and when we make it home we can all celebrate together.
Your brother in Christ
